Back to School… as a Mom, in the Middle of Chaos

Ahhhhh, its time!

Some people are prepping backpacks for their kids. I’m prepping notebooks for myself.

This fall, I’m going back to college — not just as a student, but as a single mom, a full-time worker, and someone who already has her hands full (literally and emotionally).

And honestly? It’s scary.
But it’s also powerful.

Because choosing to go back to school while raising a child isn’t something you do for fun. You do it because you’re fighting for more. More opportunities. More security. More stability. More for your child.

Some days, I feel like I’m barely keeping it all together. Between daycare germs, work stress, and mom guilt, adding college classes feels like chaos stacked on chaos.
But I know the version of me I’m working toward — and she’s worth it. So is my son.

This isn’t the traditional back-to-school story. It’s not perfect or polished.
It’s me, doing homework with a toddler climbing on my lap.
It’s late nights, early mornings, and praying the Wi-Fi holds up.
It’s reminding myself that my dreams didn’t end when I became a mom — they just got a new purpose.

So if you’re out there doing big things while carrying little people — I see you.
And if you’re going back to school, chasing your goals, or even just surviving right now — I’m cheering for you.

This journey is hard.
But it’s also holy.
And somewhere in the chaos… we’re making a way.

So here we go.. another journey. The journey to earn my degree never ended — it just paused. Life happened. Chaos unfolded. Priorities shifted. But deep down, that goal never left my heart. And now? We’re back at it.

Because the world doesn’t stop — and neither do we.
We grow, we pause, we reroute, but we keep going.

Let the next chapter begin. 🎓✨
